Welcome to SmartPet, an online platform offering AI-driven chatbot assistance and video consultations with registered veterinarians ("Services"). By accessing or using SmartPet’s website and services, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use immediately.

1. SmartPet reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Scope of Services

SmartPet provides two primary services:
- **AI Chatbot Assistance**: Offers general pet health advice, guidance, and recommendations based on an AI algorithm trained on veterinary data. It is not a substitute for professional veterinary consultation.
- **Online Video Consultations**: Live video consultations with registered veterinarians for general advice and non-emergency concerns.

3. Limitations of Services

- The AI Chatbot does not provide a definitive diagnosis, treatment plans, or prescriptions. It is for informational purposes only.
- Video consultations do not replace in-person veterinary examinations. The veterinarian’s ability to assess conditions is limited by the absence of a physical exam.
- **Emergency Situations**: If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, you should seek immediate care from a physical veterinary clinic. SmartPet is not responsible for delays in emergency care due to reliance on our services.

4. User Responsibilities

- Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information about their pets.
- SmartPet’s services should not be misused for fraudulent purposes or inappropriate inquiries.
- Users are prohibited from recording or distributing video consultations without prior consent.

5. Privacy and Data Security

- SmartPet collects and stores user data per its **Privacy Policy**, which complies with relevant data protection regulations.
- Personal data may be shared with partnered veterinarians to facilitate consultations.
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

6. Fees and Payments

- AI Chatbot assistance may be provided free or as part of a paid subscription, depending on service levels.
- Video consultations require payment at the time of booking or through a subscription plan.
- All fees are displayed in applicable currency and include relevant taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Refunds will only be provided under specific circumstances outlined in our **Refund Policy**.

7. Intellectual Property

- All content, including chatbot responses, website materials, and consultation notes, are the property of SmartPet.
- Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or use SmartPet’s intellectual property for commercial purposes without written permission.

8. Liability Disclaimer

- SmartPet provides services on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.
- While we strive to offer accurate information, we do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of chatbot responses or veterinary advice.
- SmartPet is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

9. Termination of Services

SmartPet reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to services in cases of:
- Violation of these Terms.
- Fraudulent activities.
- Misuse of the platform.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SmartPet operates.
